Guaranteed for life, our forged tools represent our strongest commitment to the quality of our products. The rest of our tools are guaranteed for up to 30 years. For our entire range, forged or not, we seek the quality of the materials, the quality of the designs, of the conceptions, to guarantee you reliable products since 1920.
Abbreviations to understand the guarantee levels
- E = exchanged or repaired free of charge with no time limit.
- G30 = 30-year warranty: exchanged or repaired free of charge within 30 years of purchase.
- G10 = 10 year warranty: exchanged or repaired free of charge within 10 years of purchase.
- G5 = 5-year warranty: exchanged or repaired free of charge within 5 years of purchase.
- G2 = 2-year warranty: exchanged or repaired free of charge within 2 years of purchase.
- White = the legal warranty applies.
- IN = individual guarantee of each tool (in the case of compositions).
Our warranty conditions on your MOB tools
- The products must be returned to benefit from the guarantee.
- They must be returned exclusively by the distributor who sold them.
- Any warranty is excluded in cases of abnormal use of the tool. Compliance with the safety instructions makes it possible to distinguish normal use from abusive use. For example, a screwdriver that served as a lever is not replaced.
- Normal product wear and tear is also excluded from the warranty. For example, in the case of screw bits or saw blades, wear is not guaranteed, but hidden defects (eg non-compliant dimension) are guaranteed.
- Packaging (cardboard, plastic, etc.) is excluded from the warranty.
In the case of compositions in a container: it is the individual guarantee of the tool that applies: “IN” in this file. - In the case of torque tools, the warranty does not cover calibration, which will be invoiced.
- Our warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective product to the exclusion of any compensation related to direct or indirect consequential damages.
- If the returned product is no longer marketed by our company, it will be replaced by a technically equivalent product.
- The warranty applies during the period indicated at the rate in force on the day of purchase of the product (list available in Excel on request).
How is warranty support assessed?
The analysis of the defect is carried out by our quality department within the framework of our quality system. It judges whether or not the guarantee is applied and informs the distributor.
How to return a defective product?
Defective products must be returned to benefit from the guarantee.
They must be given to us by the distributor who sold them to you.
The analysis of the defect is then carried out by our Quality department within the framework of our ISO 9001 quality system. It judges the application or not of the guarantee and informs the distributor in the event of a negative response.
During the warranty period, we undertake to replace the product by simple exchange with a new product. In some cases, we may carry out a limited repair or replacement of only the defective elements and not of the complete product.
